What it actually does

Trade Quote Forge takes a job description — typed out, or read straight off a photo or a set of plans — and works out a full take-off: the materials and labour the job actually needs. It prices every line against your rates and material costs, not a generic industry average, and groups the result by category so you can see exactly where the total came from.

Before anything gets sent, it also flags what it isn't sure about — a measurement that looks off, a spec worth confirming with the client, a detail the plans didn't cover. That means the questions come up while you're still looking at the quote, not three weeks into the job.

Every quote stays fully editable after that. Adjust a line item, add one it missed, log a variation later — it's a draft you finish, not a number you're stuck with.
